Indie survival co-op horror game launches today on Steam.
DEVOUR is a four-player co-op survival horror game. and it has begun its reign of terror today with a full launch on Steam. Anyone brave enough to play DEVOUR will need their wits about them. Players must try and stop a possessed cult leader before they are dragged to hell.

DEVOUR is a screamfest of a survival horror game, with no two playthroughs ever the same. DEVOUR was developed by small British indie studio Straight Back Games. DEVOUR is a white-knuckle ride that is best played cooperatively with friends who are easily-spooked.
Players in DEVOUR take on the role of once devoted cult members, they must steel themselves and work together to stop their cursed leader Anna Puerta from unleashing the goat demon Azazel. With the ritual that went horribly wrong Anna is now possessed by the demon Azazel. Players must race against time as Anna’s powers grow with every step. In DEVOUR you must burn ritual goats while evading an ever growing legions of demons and ultimately break Azazel’s hold over Anna.
DEVOUR is all about escalating difficulty and scream inducing jump scares. Your only means of defense in DEVOUR is a UV flashlight. AI behaviour and item placement are randomized, making every playthrough unique. Players luckily don’t have to face their fears alone with a built-in server browser and positional in-game voice chat. For those who survive DEVOUR without breaking a sweat, Nightmare mode is the ultimate challenge.

Take control of up to 4 cult members in this unique online co-op experience where you must work together to stop Anna, a possessed cult leader dead set on taking you to hell with her. - Single player mode:

No two DEVOUR playthroughs are ever the same. To stop Anna, you’ll need a focused team and perfect execution, with a single session lasting up to an hour. Beat the game without breaking a sweat? Try Nightmare mode for the ultimate challenge. - Exorcise Anna:
Your goal is to break Azazel’s hold over Anna. To do this you’ll need to find gasoline, a fire pit, and enough ritual goats to burn. - Escalating difficulty:
Anna’s rage and speed increase as the game progresses, as does the number of demons Azazel spawns to stop you. Your only means of defence is your UV flashlight. - Replayability:
Locked doors, goats and item spawns are randomized, ensuring that no two games are the same. What’s more, DEVOUR’s unpredictable AI ups the game, making you second guess each and every move. - Multiplayer features:
